College of Coastal Georgia Fitness Center

Welcome to College of Coastal Georgia's Fitness Center home page. Designed with Coastal Georgia's students and staff in mind, the Fitness Center will help enhance livelihood and allow users to achieve the highest level of health possible in each of these five dimensions: physical, social, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

The mission of the Fitness Center is to improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in the Coastal Georgia Community and to promote an environment that will encourage the lifelong practice of health and fitness for all.

The Fitness Center has cardio machines and free weights as well as machines by Cybex, Nautilus and Strive. The variety of machines will offer users several options while working out, and by adjusting the intensity and resistance you can achieve desired changes in your body. Fitness Classes are also available throughout the week in multiple disciplines.

The Fitness Center staff is available to perform new user orientations, which are designed to familiarize you with the equipment, teach proper form and technique so each Fitness Center experience will prove successful. Fitness testing is also available so users can track their fitness levels. Please feel free to ask the staff about this assessment.

The Fitness Center is free for all CCGA students, faculty and staff with a valid CCGA ID. All users must sign a waiver every year and new users must be orientated by a member of the Fitness Center Staff.
